The 70th Anniversary has come and gone and it was wonderful. We welcomed many of our former staff members but unfortunately not many alumni were there. Some of the former staff present were: Rev and Mrs Xaba, Mr E Mpanza, Mr and Mrs Dahlgren, Mr and Mrs Genheimer, Mr and Mrs Wetmore, Mr W Hart, Mr and Mrs Alcock, Mrs Margaret McIntosh (nee Robbins) and many others.

It would seem that there is a need for alumni to contact UBI and update their contact details, especially those of you who have email addresses. If you belong to an Alumni association, it would be good for UBI administration to have a contact name and number for the chairman thereby allowing us to contact them and they in turn can pass on items of interest or news. Doing a mail-out for each event we may have, that would be of interest to alumni would be too expensive an exercise, so having someone who could pass on information to others would be wonderful.
